So what’s a Day in the Sweat Life like for Lacey? Read on…
Our bodies are pretty amazing machines. And, it’s no surprise to anyone reading here that what we put in our bodies directly influences how we look, feel, and perform. Here are 5 of my favorite foods to keep on hand (to mix and match) for fast snacks or mini meals to keep our bods movin’.
I imagine it’s pretty clear by now how many days a week — and really how many hours a day — I spend in leggings and a sports bra getting my sweat on. So I’m sure it also comes as no surprise that I pay close attention to the athletic clothes I wear every day in my workouts and running around the city.
My mother always loved telling me the story of my birth. I was two weeks late, and had put her on bed rest towards the end of her pregnancy. The way she always tells it is, that I waited until the moment I was ready and once I decided it was my time to arrive, I came fast and with force. Only two hours after her first contraction, I came tumbling out (literally) doing a twisting backflip on my way into the world — sticking the landing and weighing in at a whopping ten pounds.

Our results are evidence of our commitment. If you are wholeheartedly committed to a change, a goal, a solution, you will find it. Getting yourself to a wholehearted YES to your desire, then, is your number 1 priority.

Growing up, I spent a significant amount of time over at my best friend Jenny’s house, where her parents had one of the original NordicTrack machines. I have to admit, NordicTrack has been pretty much off my radar since then. That was until last month, when I was invited to an event to test out NordicTrack’s new at-home line. Only four words are needed here: I. Was. Blown. Away.
