Travel fatigue. It gets us all. Running through airports, dehydration, jet leg, late nights, early mornings, time changes. We all know them and most of us loathe them. How do we stop the travel fatigue madness? Enter Wellthily.
Several years ago I was still working in finance, and traveling almost every week. As a matter of fact, my last year as a constant road warrior I flew almost 300,000 miles. I didn’t even know that was possible… until I did it. I was working to make my senior partners a lot of money and me a little. After almost ten years of Wall Street and Venture Capital, I was about as worn out as a human can be. Emotionally? Spent. Physically? Exhausted. Spiritually? Drained. It was time for me to make a major change. It was time to stop defining my success by my “Partner” title and paycheck. It was time to create a new definition of success. A new definition of wealth. The only question... how? As I started my journey to a new, more purpose-driven life, I decided to take it one step at at time.
"It was time to create a new definition of success. A new definition of wealth. The only question... how?"
Step 1: Redefine wealth
The journey began with many days and nights of sketches, white board sessions, walking meetings, and bottles of wine (we splurge at Wellthily, too!) with my friend and soon-to-be business partner, Jen Batchelor. After hours of brainstorming, we decided to look no further than the word we were looking to redefine:
Wealth: an abundance of valuable possessions or money
Just reading the definition felt empty. It was time to create our own definition.
Wellth: a purpose driven journey filled with an abundance of self love, joy, health, and happiness.
"Just reading the definition felt empty. It was time to create our own definition."

Step 2: Create a life that follows the wellth principles with reckless abandon
Once we had our definition, we moved on to how to actually live a life that followed it. It felt so good to have redefined something so innate in our beings, that we wanted to create an abundance of wellth for ourselves and as many others as we could. We wanted to start a Wellth Movement! We decided to start by focusing on tackling travel pains, something we both knew well, through the birth of Wellthily.
Step 3: Grow the Wellth Movement
Years later the wellth movement is real, and we are thrilled! We spend our days working to create experiences for like-minded wellth warriors across the globe. We are building a movement with a name and ethos rooted in the idea that our generation is ready for a new definition of success. Gone are the days of priding sleepless nights and exhausted days, and here are the days that celebrate self-love, joyous moments with friends and family, and spending your working days on a goal that inspires both you and those around you. We bring everything you need to travel well to your hotel room doorstep, offer an in room compendium of wellth including workouts and guided meditations for travelers, and create wellthy communities of locals and guests through wellness-focused events. We host events at our hotel properties and with partners around the globe, and this summer we want to invite you to Live Wellthily with us as we spread the wellth the entire sunny season!
